I do very much like the Tek 4014 and related storage displays. Here’s an emulated 4014 emulator being driven by a real PDP-11/73:
I was really taken by the hidden-lines-removed function plot there. It’s one of a whole collection of Tek byte streams which you can cat into your xterm (xterm -t should do it.) (More here.)
