About a year ago, I was wondering aloud, if there were any genuinely computer related ghost stories. With computers having become such an essential medium, the apparent lack thereof should be a bit of a mystery in its own right, since stories of a similar kind inevitably popped up for about any other emerging medium. So, where are all those tales of the computer mediated paranormal?
Little did I know, but there has been a story with all these ingredients all along, even a book has been published and it featured in an episode of a TV series, as well. The ghostly events allegedly took place in the UK (where else?) in the 1980s with a venerable BBC Micro at its very center.
