Homebrew 1801-based PDP-11 workalikes

Alexander Shabarshin, aka SHAOS, has built not one but two homebrew computers using Russia 1801 PDP-11-on-a-chip microprocessors (a Soviet-era design, not to be confused with RCA’s COSMAC 1801 microprocessor). PDPii is a backplane machine, and PDPjr is a single-board-computer.

My metric IC socket post is about the KM1801VM3 - reading his pages he had the same problem with the IC socket. Frustrating having a 64 pin ZIF socket and the IC not fitting!
