So, i would like to use my old 1.44 mb floppy drive with my modern pc since my USB floppy drive (that i bought years ago) is making weird noises. And found this adapter card on the china shop.
I wonder if anyone has tried this and if you know if it works. Also. please recommend other methods to get old floppy drives working (pci cards?).
What do you want to do with your floppy drive?
If you’re liable to use it for more than just reading and writing DOS-formatted floppies (which is what most USB-to-floppy adapters are limited to), I would recommend something like the Greaseweazle. (You can buy it from several retro-themed online shops linked from that page, it is an open hardware project.)
