These are a few of our favourite things

Thought it might be good to share photos of any special possessions, or of our retrocomputing setup.

And it just so happens I have a photo at the ready:

Which happens to have more than one precious thing! I’m at the same desk right now, but it has at least ten times as many things on it at the moment.

Seen here: BBC Micro, twice, B&W Sony TV, BBC Master with Z80 cheese wedge copro, green phosphor Kaga monitor, Sinclair Scientific, Psion 3, Helix U12 slide rule.

Some of the things I show my students:

A TeleVideo 910 serial terminal, a Ti 99/4a personal computer, several PDP-11 disks and a bus terminator, a Remington mechanical adding machine.

Not shown, but in my office: a Burroughs mechanical adding machine from the mid-30s, an HP 97 programmable calculator, a TI-2550 four function calculator, a Model 28 Teletype principles of operation manual, several vacuum tubes, various documentation.
