A post from 2014 with a look at the prototype VIC-20. I think we should be glad the keyboard used in the prototype got replaced with a proper keyboard. :slight_smile:

It’s a PET–! Except, not really --, because it has the VIC, and therefore colour and sound.

Didn’t the project start targeting Japanese markets? So it may be rather a VIC-1001 prototype?
