The 3mx was the final 16 bit organiser (SIBO) released by Psion. With the original and all of the variants, these SIBO devices sold roughly one and a half million units. The relatively high sales volume coupled with the improvements to software development tools led to more than fifteen hundred third party software titles being developed for the platform. This was a huge milestone in mobile computing software.

It’s the series 3 that mostly has my attention, but their earlier software applications were pretty impressive.
