NewBear 77-68 Floppy Disk Controller

The NewBear 77-68 is approaching its 50th anniversary. As an original owner of one of these systems, I recently recreated a replica of the machine I owned back in the day.

However, the Floppy Disk Controller was the one card I never built. While the Carter Brothers have kindly published the hardware plans online, I have been unable to find any information about the BearDOS operating system that was written for it.

I would love to complete the Floppy Disk Controller build as part of the 50th anniversary project. Does anyone have any documentation, software, manuals, disk images, source code, or any other information relating to BearDOS?

Thank you for sharing the link. While I was able to find the floppy disk hardware plans there, I couldn’t locate any information about BearDos.

I’m hoping that someone who knew Tim Moore, the designer of the system, may have additional information or documentation related to it. Any leads or insights would be greatly appreciated.
