I’m a first-time poster here and a recent, but very enthusiastic, fan of the PDP-11. I have started a blog to track my journey of discovery (https://www.learningpdp11.com/) and I would love to get some feedback.
There is a lot of information there that I haven’t been able to find anywhere else (e.g. an instruction-by-instruction breakdown of the bootstrap loader and the absolute loader). Right now I’m working on a complete line-by-line breakdown of the PDP-11 BASIC application.
Hopefully it’s a useful resource for those who like getting really low level understanding, like machine code/assembly stuff.
I’m sharing this link here beacuse I thought it might be of interest to some of you and if anyone has suggestions, either for topics you’d like me to cover or…well, anything really, I’d love to hear!
