The Microtronic Firmware ROM has been fully decoded and annotated by Claude Code Opus 4.8 in an afternoon, just from the disassembly and some generic TMS11xx resources as well as an emulator:
It had Jason’s excellent Disassembling the Microtronic 2090 analysis, and I think that this was probably essential for the astounding performance. It is not clear how well it would have done without Jason’s prior groundbreaking work on this. Still, it’s an astounding performance IMHO.
