As one of the more influential BASICs out there, I was surprised that I cannot find a manual for the language on the 'net. There’s manuals for the operators and equipment and various related things, but not the language itself.
Has anyone come across this anywhere?
do you mean MAI Basic/Four? Search engines are basically (npi) useless these days.
(it’s probably not Dartmouth BASIC 4th Edition, because you know all about that)
Duck Duck Go still seems to return actual hits.
I’ve been meaning to switch to DDG, so perhaps now is the time.
There’s also https://www.qwant.com which I keep meaning to try.
A good shortcut for duckduckgo.com is ddg.gg.
So I did switch to DDG. After a week, no way I’m going back.
The search results are similar overall, but all of the clutter is gone and I can actually find things in the list of results.
