The FROB is an ATARI 2600 #gamedev system for Apple II. Its tool FLOAD loads assembled 6502 code to be run by the 2600 via a shared memory window.

Ah, Frob! For some reason I wrongly remebered the name as “Frog” and when the web came along I tried searching for that name but never could find it. I even started to wonder if I had imagined the whole thing.
