Farewell - ETAOIN SHRDLU (1980)

Farewell - ETAOIN SHRDLU is a short documentary released by the New York Times in 1980 about their transition from hot-metal Linotype production to computerized production. The first half of the film covers the printing of the July 2, 1978 edition of the NYT, the last to use hot metal.

The second half may be of more interest to readers here. It’s a little like spot-the-retrocomputer: I saw at least a Data General Nova, a PDP-11 front panel, an IBM 360(?), a large CDC mainframe and what looks like lots of Atex terminals.
