Hi
I did know a bit of Language H. I worked for Jack Harwell (John C Harwell) at his software house writing a COBOL compiler for NCR/Elliott 4100 series and then a flowcharting package on a Univac 418. He was very tall with a beard and dark hair and gave the impression of Abraham Lincoln. His software company was called JHDP; Jack Harwell Data Processing. It was at the top of a building in Regent Street in the roof space. He signed my application to join the British Computer Society and had a single digit membership number, I got one that was 3000 or so. While I was there he was developing an RPG compiler/interpreter and a Basic compiler. Before that I was working on a LEO III. It was 1967,
Jack was also an expert on a language called FACT.
